Chief Financial Officer

Based in the GTA, the Chief Financial Officer will manage a portfolio of holdings and investments and support all corporate and real estate investment activity including acquisitions, divestitures, private and family investments, and equity financings.

The Chief Financial Officer will also help lead the organizations investment strategy and provide investment and tax council to the Chief Executive Officer.

Specifically we are seeking candidates with the following qualities:

• 15+ years of  business experience in progressively senior financial roles ideally with a combination of private equity, venture capital and operational experience
• Relevant undergraduate degree, CA and CFA designations preferred
• Act as a key advisor to the Chief Executive Officer and provide strategic direction and support the investments, holdings and interest activities along with the Chief Executive Officer of the company
• Strategic development and analysis of all prospective acquisitions and divestitures
• Review all portfolio companies financials and provide the lead in the review and support of all operational, legal and tax requirements
• Strong business acumen, loyal, decisive, a savvy negotiator and a diplomat
