The performance of Canada’s 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures of 2010, in terms of a three-year compound annual growth rate, has significantly outpaced the S&P/TSX 60 by an average of nearly 600 per cent – or, six times.

TORONTO, November 18th, 2010 - Waterstone Human Capital, a leading executive search and professional recruitment firm, today announces the national winners of the Canada’s 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures of 2010 program.

Fast Facts – Canada’s 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures:

•    This is the 6th year of the Canada’s 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures program, and the first year the regional qualification element has been included.
•    The competition was even tougher than in 2009, which in and of itself was a record-setting year for Canada’s 10 in terms of nominations and submissions.
•    This year nearly 400 organizations were nominated, and there was a 30 per cent increase over 2009 in terms of the number of organizations proceeding with a formal submission to the program.
•    In-person interviews were held this past summer, across the country, between Waterstone Human Capital and senior executives from the submitting organizations.
•    The program’s 24-member Board of Governors, consisting of top executives from many leading organizations from across Canada, voted on the submissions and chose 10 winners in three different regions (West, Central, as well as Quebec & Atlantic Canada), as well as six special category regional winners, at the end of September.
•    Canada’s 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures’ Board of Governors reconvened for the national vote on Monday, November 8th. 
•    Canada’s 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures of 2010 will be celebrated at the 6th annual gala, to be held on February 7th, 2011, in Toronto.
