Director, Executive Search and Recruitment

Port Credit (Mississauga)

Waterstone Human Capital

Engagement #0227-0003S

Here at Waterstone Human Capital, we’re proud to be the leading strategic executive search and cultural assessment partner to entrepreneurial-minded, high-growth organizations across North America. We’re growing rapidly, and looking for a key member to join our dynamic team.

Your job will be to help our clients solve their toughest senior talent challenges. Because we are a generalist firm you’ll gain exposure to industries ranging from technology to financial services to retail, to manufacturing. The one thing our clients tend to have in common is that they are in growth mode and need our team’s expert help to find the right talent to take their business to the next level.

As the director, you’ll lead a project-by-project based assignment team consisting of a consultant, one or more researchers (our associates) and a client services lead. You will be an ambassador of our industry-leading Recruit4Fit process – it’s deadline-driven and pushes us to hit key milestones together.

As a player-coach, your role will be to manage a small portfolio of searches while mentoring and coaching your recruitment team. You will develop an onboarding and training program for new associates, as well as continue to network within the recruitment industry to nurture and attract the best talent to Waterstone. You will proactively manage the team resources to address capacity and build a portfolio of external resources.

Your impact won’t be limited to search assignments and the development of the recruitment team. We’re also doing leading-edge work in cultural assessment (through our Waterstone Culture Dashboard™), succession planning, cultural alignment and leadership assessment and coaching. Waterstone Human Capital is also proud to run Canada’s 10 Most Admired Cultures™ Awards, a program that recognizes best-in-class organizations for having cultures that have helped them enhance performance and sustain a competitive advantage.

You’ll also be in a modern workspace that is second-to-none: beautifully renovated with tons of natural light, flexible work stations, access to green space and seconds from GO Transit, Port Credit Village and the Gardiner Expressway.

If you thrive in a fast-paced and project-based environment, enjoy working on challenging searches, and excel at coaching and mentoring a high-performing team, this role could be for you.
