SUBMISSION GUIDELINES FOR THE 2011 PROGRAM:

Please note the following instructions:

1. QUALIFICATION FOR PARTICIPATION: Only organizations that have been nominated to the Canada’s 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures of 2011 program, and that have been notified of this nomination by Waterstone Human Capital, are eligible to make a submission.

2. CONTENT: In the submission, your organization will be asked to outline details related to its corporate culture. There will be a series of general questions, followed by questions related to the five following criteria:

• vision and leadership;
• cultural alignment, measurement and sustainability;
• rewards, recognition and innovative business achievement;
• corporate performance; and,
• corporate social responsibility.

3. A COPY OF YOUR SUBMISSION: You may preview your answers by using the pull down bar at the end of each field. Once you make your submission, please note that a copy of your entry will be emailed to you, for your records. 4. ANSWERING ALL QUESTIONS IN ALL CATEGORIES: Please answer each of the categories below. Each question must be answered in order for the submission to be considered eligible. Please note, saving your work on the online form is not possible. Please only make your entry once you are ready to make your final submission.

5. MANDATORY WORD COUNT. Please note the word limit *PER* category. If a submission is deemed to be over the word limit guideline, Waterstone Human Capital reserves the right to pull the submission from the consideration of the Canada’s 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures Board of Governors.

6. CONFIDENTIALITY: This submission will be reviewed by Waterstone Human Capital, our program partners and by the members of our 2011 Canada’s 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures Board of Governors.

7. ADDITIONAL MATERIALS: Members of our 2011 Canada’s 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures Board of Governors are only asked to review the content held within the body of the submission as well as any attachments specifically related to the corporate performance section (see below). Should your organization refer to its website, or to a specially-created micro-site, or to any other external information within the body of its submission, please note that board members are under no obligation to review this additional information. Please also note: the only area of the submission where extra materials are allowed for inclusion, is the corporate performance section (see the guidelines below). Otherwise, please abide by the word count per section.

8. HOW TO ENTER YOUR SUBMISSION: The submission must be made online, through this submission form.

How has the nominated company demonstrated its culture through its vision and leadership over the years, and how have the company's leaders inspired their people towards a new level of growth and achievement?

How is the culture of the nominated organization aligned to its vision, people, and processes, and how is it measured and sustained to support corporate performance?

How does the nominated organization reward and recognize its people, and how is it unique and innovative in its relationship with its employees, stakeholders and customers? How has the nominated organization demonstrated excellence in its field?

PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST PROVIDE RELEVANT **CANADIAN** DATA IN THIS SECTION. IF YOUR ORGANIZATION IS A SUBSIDIARY AND YOU ONLY PROVIDE GLOBAL DATA, YOUR SUBMISSION WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED ELIGIBLE.

The Board of Governors will review key financial indicators provided by the nominated organization for the close of the last fiscal year. If your organization is a subsidiary or a private company that cannot provide financials, please provide key industry or other financial indicators. Any information that is comparative in nature (e.g. industry or sector comparisons) is also helpful in determining related performance.

Ideally, your key performance indicators will be written into the body of your answer. However, you are permitted, in this section only, to include an attachment of *summarized* results or highlights. Only one attachment, with a 2-page maximum, is allowed per submission, and only in this category (please use the attachment option below).

Please note: should you use the back button to make changes, you will need to re-upload any files you may have attached.

An outstanding organization promotes a culture that supports organizational and individual involvement in overcoming community, social and environmental issues. How has the nominated organization done so? Please provide examples.

Once you hit submit, you will see a thank you screen and you will also receive an automatic email from Waterstone Human Capital, with a copy of your submission for your files.
