Engagement #003-0009S

We are currently leading the search for a Chief Procurement Officer on behalf of our client, one of the largest industrial processors and distributors in North American with a global reach.

Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Procurement Officer will be a key change agent with a mission to enhance operational performance. They will lead the development and execution of the organization’s procurement strategy across the entire operation. This will include a shift from its present decentralized model to a centralized model while ensuring effective implementation of corporate procurement strategies to harness economies of scale, drive economic value, and enable business growth.

Additionally, they will need some experience implementing a procurement ERP system as the organization is undergoing a new ERP program rollout.

Finally, the Chief Procurement Officer will be tasked with recommending, approving and implementing business allocations as the organization undergoes significant continued transformation, growth and expansion at a faster pace than ever.

The Chief Procurement Officer will be a member of the leadership team and will report to the chief operating officer. They will have a team of four to five direct reports and will look to optimize a current contingent of over 100 people who touch procurement today.

If you are a high achiever, pace setter and a game changer with an exceptional track record of results, this may be the role for you. Come join a growth company that believes its strong corporate culture is its greatest asset, and see what a difference you can make.
