Retail Technology Innovator
We are currently leading the search for a Director, Marketing Strategy, on behalf of our client, an award-winning, high-growth, disruptive innovator in the retail technology space.
Reporting to the Vice President of Product Development, this individual will create, build and lead the strategic marketing function.
In this newly created position, the Director of Strategic Marketing will position our client at the forefront of thought leadership in the retail and digital industry, broadcasting the awareness of the movement from print to digital. This role will create and drive the marketing and sales vision and strategy to attract and grow retailer and CPG partnerships through the education and evangelism of the benefit of our client’s platform, and will provide the playbook and collateral for the sales team to execute this vision.
The ideal candidate is humble, hungry and highly intelligent, thrives in an entrepreneurial high-growth environment, and has an exceptional understanding of the retail and CPG landscape. In addition, this individual will have strong business acumen, have a reinvention mindset (e.g. is bold and thinks outside of the box), be a strong writer/storyteller and be able to represent the voice of the consumer.
